Here’s how to make perfect sphere ice.

 

Close the ice maker and fill with water.  (The water will come out unless you hold the bottom with your other hand.)

Use two hands to hold the bottom and top of the ice maker.

Then put the black cap on when there are minimal air bubbles.

Turn to a horizontal position so it sits on the legs.

The suction will then keep the water inside the maker.

Place in your freezer.

To open, run some water over the ice maker on both sides and use a sharp knife to cut the ice spheres if required.
